Chickens?

I had 99 but down to 98:( I put the last 24 in a cage and they are so tiny they slipped thru the wire and now I'm down one! I brought them into the house. Have to grow them a little bigger before they are ready for the cage outside! I have 10 chicks that will lay chocolate colored eggs, 15 Wyandottes(which are blue in color) and25 red leghorns, that lay white eggs, and 25 buff orpingtons, which are a bigger chicken(light brown eggs) and they are good sitters. Then I will not need an incubator! And the last 23 are Americana and they are the Easter egg layers. They lay green or blue or pink eggs. I have 3 and get a dark green,a light green and a light blue egg. I have a few more chickens but they don't all lay. I am going to have to cull some. I will try to post a Blue Wyandotte. I'll see how well the computer obeys it's master! HA!

A picture of a blue Wyanotte I found online.

My eggs will be similar to this photo(also found online)

Rounding up the yearling!

Ride a mailbox. My favorite ride!
Get me up Grandma!

Bath time. Not afraid of water either.

Come on Grandma. I'll show you what's really fun.

Now that's a pony tail!

She didn't believe I had her til she bounced off my legs at the very end of the video!

Alice is my wild child! She is so funny. Not afraid of anything. There is a ledge in front of the windows in the front room. She brought her purple bean bag and put it in front of the windows...then crawled up on that ledge and then just took one giant step for mankind and would land in that beanbag! I got to watch her all afternoon for Vanentine"s Day. What a blast! After her bath we chased each other and read books and conked Grandma in the head with her head. 'bout took Grandma out and it didn't faze her at all! We also swang a little and rode the mailbox.

It was a good Valentine's Day.

Today is Family History Center Day. I work in it every Thursday. Love to do genealogy. It seems there is always something new to do or find. At least I am busy for those 4 hours I am there:)
