More of Hunter in May 2011

Too much energy in the a.m.

I have a feather...

And good balance!

A little more of May 2011

Flowers from Travis for Mothers' Day! I finally got one of them trained not to give me cut flowers! Yea! Don't give me flowers that are already dead...when I can kill them myself it is so much more satisfying! LOL!

Tidbits of May 2011

This blog is hard for me cos it seems the story is backwards. Oh well, Good Luck and figure it out? Read from the bottom up and it makes more sense.

It Happened to Aiden last year. When I turned the little bird he found loose...he was a little miffed when it flew away. He really wanted to keep it!I will post the photo if I ever find it!

The very next day Hunter came and got me cos he found a bird. It evidently flew into the tree(literally)and knocked itself silly. It couldn't fly and kind of had a far away look in its itty bitty eyes! So, we took a picture of course! After awhile he remembered who he was and flew away.

I do not have exact dates. Just that these photos were taken in May.Rachel was here and I saw a little bird pass the window and I said not here you don't! She looked at me kind of strange and I told her it was a barn swallow. The little birds that make their nests in the most annoying places. Like above your door.Anyway...a little while later I walked onto the porch and could hear little wings fluttering AND there was one of its little buddies got a little too curious and was in the window trying deparatly to fly away. Darn glass just was in the way...

Flat tire

I came down to Texas to help Rachel for a couple days. On the way down I had a flat tire. OUT in the middle of Egypt!!! Really just past Higbee. Where there is nothing! I had it off when a nice man stopped to help me. He even had a little pump ya plug into the lighter and aired up my flat spare! What a nice person! Thanks Jay! Saved a women in distress and was really nice about it! When I first had the flat I went up on the hill beside the car to try and get a signal on my cell phone. Ya know those things are really worthless when ya need it? But back to the hill...there was a snake skin where a snake had shed off. I thought to myself oh great! Probably a hillside full of snakes! But no. I was safe. And here is a thought for anyone who cares to read.... Who ever made those rinky dink jacks to lift a car to change a tire must've not been real serious. Seriously, I could think of a better place to keep that hunk of junk!(I am being nice)It is the most hardest, most difficult thing in the world to use! I think I will find a good place to throw it but, it won't have anything to do with my trunk! Seriously! Now I can go shopping! Not only do I need a real jack but I need a tire too!
