I got a new puppy! I don't have pictures downloaded yet...BUT I WILL! She is so cute. She is a Boston Bull. Itty BITTY HAS BEEN STOCKING HER That is what I really want to show. It is sooo funny! He bounces at her and she runs and cries. Then she'll turn and bark at him. Keeps me entertained. Even my 2 year old puppy is starting to play with her. I think she is going to fit right in!

Itty Bitty and Christmas Cactus

The only thing they have in common is they both have "BLOSSOMED"!" Itty Bitty only weighs 25-30 pounds. When he sneaks in on the bed in the middle of the night...it's okay til he steps on you! Or wraps around your head and purrs! He's just a big o' fat marshmallow!

Bummer

What really bummed me out after talking about the awesome buck I saw...the very next day in just about the same spot...a big white Dodge pickup truck and a State Patrol were parked. I watched as the patrolman got out of the car and walk across the road...and look in the barpit kind of disgusted, then walk back to his car. I have not seen the deer since...Bummer!

Better Late than never...

Trick or Treat!

Yesterday,on my way to Ordway to do the "Randy" chores I saw a pair of coyotes. I was headed west and they were cutting across the pasture headed north. Then I turned north and a young coyote ran across the road in front of me! That's too many coyotes for me in one area! Glad they are not closer to my house! Although we have our share. Every once in awhile I throw a firecracker out the door to scare them away because they are making too much racket, too close to my yard!

Today, as I was headed to Ordway, I saw the most beautiful Buck run up to the road! He was awesome but, what I didn't realize at first is he wasn't stopping! He kept on coming and I had to hit the breaks to keep from hitting him! Then as I cross the bridge I glanced to the west and there were 4 or 5 more crossing the river! What a sight. It was just neat. Guess this is wild animal week!
Larry got to see a momma Bobcat and kitten on his way to Rachel's house. I am so jealous!
I will be able to post wild Halloween pics on Friday! Eeeeew! Hope they're not too scarey!

Round one ...done!

Well, according to a neighbor this horses nose would turn black and rot where the bite was. He looks pretty darn good to me! Took this picture this morning. No swelling,no black, no nothing. And I am thankful! Dispite the flies trying to gobble up his face he is fine.
